Brutallus 2.0

Insuffecient DPS and the 6min enrage timer aside, we have a larger problem facing our raid right now. Healing. We had 9 healers in the raid and tanks were still getting destroyed. Enrage timer blahblahblah. It doesn't matter if we don't last the 6min.

Assuming an 8healer setup (I honestly don't think we can do 7), healing should look like this:

3 pallys, 2 priests, 2 shamans and a resto druid.

Assignments will be as follows:

3 pallys (2 HL and 1 FoL) + inspiration priest on tanks

2 shamans +CoH priest on raid healing

Resto druid + CoH priest on Burn targets (limited direct healing as the DoT finishes)

The only way this really works is if people focus on their task and nothing else. Tonight, I recieved several pally heals. In my opinion, that is a huge mistake. That 1.5+sec that it took to toss me a heal was probably long enough to fall behind healing Night or AJ. Additionally I don't want to see any renews or rejuvs on me. Healing really has to be closeminded on this fight. Make sure everyone is doing what they are best at (pallys single target tanks, shamans heal raid damage, HoTs heal DoTs). Not all healing is the same and we need smart assignments to pull this off. There's not going to be and down-time during this fight to throw heals to people that you're not assigned to, so don't do it. Be prepared to go hard for 6min. Prepare your gear and your mats. It might take a different setup than you might be used to depending on your assignment. Do the research and sit and think about what is required. Preparation for tough fights cannot be underestimated. All the best.
