Felmyst....my 2 cents as applies to warlocks

Ok..so last time on felmyst I found some things out...found some things that work..some that dont work...figured I would share with the class.

The fight is broken up into two main phases: one where Felmyst is on the ground, and one where Felmyst is in the air. Phase 1 is the ground phase. Phase 2 is the air phase.  To make this easy I will say Phase 1a and Phase 2a...then Phase 1b and Phase 2b as the fight progreses.

I can not stress enough how valuable the battlemaster trinkets are for this fight.

Our 2pc t6 is a HoT...a shitty HoT but a hot....Use It..

Phase 1a: During this phase It is very important to maximize our dps...I start with a curse, corrupion and immolate...these 3 casts are really to let the tank get some head start cause ima bout to go all out in a sec.  Key here is of course to not die..however you should be flirting with the Tank on omen.  Tap when you need to but this is really not the phase to tap due to the massive amount of raid damage taking place.  Best time to tap....if needed is right after your Gas Nova is dispelled.  Ideally..as Felmyst starts Phase 2a you should be right above the tank in threat.

Phase 2a:(Lasts 1min 20 sec) Don't die...don't be stupid and miss the green beam.. I have done this....however...don't do it.  That being said...Blow the fucker up....go to town..should idealy pop any trinkets you have 10 or so seconds left in phase one so that you could surpass the tank in threat.  There is about a 10 20 second window that you can do massive amounts of damage before you can no longer target her. As we are getting ready to do the skellies All the Warlocks should CoD Felmyst.   Reason for this?  The phase lasts over one minute...the CoD will expire before she hits the ground...3-4 CoD's is better than 1 or 2 and a CoE/CoR combo. Any other dots you can get up there is also nice.   Skellies are easymode for locks.. the only thing i wait for is the first direction.  I wait for Tig's sexy voice to say north before i throw my first seed.   Reason:  If we hafta run south and your seeds are poppin...you could get gg'd by skellies when you get there. Use this time to tap to full and get healed.  Time to start Phase 1b and guess what?

You will have aggro from Felmyst when she hits the ground. 

Phase 1b:  As felmyst lands...position yourself close to the tank.  Do not shatter until he comes at the first lock.  Reason we are by the tank...Felmyst will run start running at us and if we are by the tank then drop threat she will be in the proper position for the raid.  Everyone shatter.  Even if you failed at argo...shatter.  Run back to your group...use the time running to put up your curse.  Same as Phase 1a, however this phase heroisums will go and once again go to town.  Play catchup with the tank but be careful as you will not be able to shatter when she lands.

Phase 2b: Same as 2a..however be careful on threat.  Dps her in the air if you can...CoD if you can threat wise...  GG skellies and go go Phase 3a.

Phase 1c: If you have threat...or think you might... warn the raid on vent and be close to the tank in case....she should go to the tank ...if not...you should get a BoP.  This phase is very much like the first one because you should have started off at the same threat level as the tank.  Play it safe.  Just like the ending of the first phase...toward the end you can start edging ahead once again.  5-10 seconds before she flies up...pop trinkets....go to town.  Catch the tank....you will not pull until 130% of his threat.   You are a warlock after all...Use that 29.999%.

Phase 2c Continue blowing the shit outta Felmyst just like the first air phase.  Once again..don't die...if you get the green beam run...Get your CoD's and other dots up and kill the skellies. It has been said that a well geared raid will kill her on her 3rd air phase....she should be very low here....we have been getting her around 40ish percent here....this is in part our fail as we should be rocking the meters on this fight.  

Phase 1d This should be the last phase.  Just like before..your shatter will be up....use it as before and get back into position.  You will be so far below the tank on threat that you can be free to go all out.  Pop everything....go as hard as you possibly can.  She will die here if she is not already dead.

*A solid group on their first successful kill will likely take Felmyst to 1% in the air. As of the 2.4.1 patch, Felmyst cannot die in the air. An enraged Felmyst in the air does nothing different: she will die immediately upon landing. This may or may not be changed in the future.
